About Christy

Christy W. Richardson is a lifelong resident of Decatur, Alabama. After graduating from Birmingham School of Law as Valedictorian in December 2006, Christy began her practice in her hometown of Decatur in 2007. Christy joined the firm of J. Calvin McBride & Associates, P.C., in March 2016, and the firm name was changed to McBride Richardson, P.C. She now concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate and probate law. Christy is married to Ashley, who is originally from Leighton, Alabama, and they have two school aged children. Ashley works for TVA at Browns Ferry. Christy and her family are members of First Bible Church, where they are actively involved with the church and Christy and Ashley serve as kindergarten Sunday school teachers. Christy is also actively involved with the Rotary Club of Decatur and the Decatur Morgan County Tourism Bureau.
