About Andrea
Andrea Gullion is a native of Morgan County. She received both her Juris Doctor of Law (2006) and Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration (2003) from the University of Alabama, where she graduated summa cum laude. While in law school, she served as a Senior Editor of the Journal of the Legal Profession. She is admitted to all Alabama state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. Andrea is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Decatur and serves on the Advisory Network for Wellstone, Inc. in Huntsville.
She is experienced in all areas of transactional law, including estate planning, residential and commercial real estate, corporate, and banking/regulatory compliance. She previously served as a Senior Compliance Advisor at one of the nation’s largest federal regulatory compliance consulting firms for financial institutions but has spent most of her career practicing transactional law at a firm in Huntsville, Alabama, where she was a partner.
Andrea is so excited to be returning “home” to Morgan County to join McBride, Richardson, & Gullion, P.C. as a shareholder. She looks forward to serving Decatur and the surrounding region. She focuses her practice primarily on matters governed by the Probate Court. Her passion is helping her clients with estate planning and residential real estate matters, with a specialization in preparing wills, powers of attorney, trusts, deeds, and other estate planning documents, as well as conducting residential and commercial real estate closings.
Andrea is married to Daniel Gullion. Daniel is the principal at Priceville Elementary School. They have three children. The Gullions are members of New Center Baptist Church in Hartselle Alabama. In her free time, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and being her children’s biggest supporters in all of their various sports and extracurricular activities.
